I am writing to relate news received last week about an event taking place at the UN on March 8th in New York that might be of interest.
The Rio Negro Memorial Quilt, which I developed with weavers and massacre survivors from Rabinal, will be on display at the UN in New York for International Women's Day along with other memorial quilts that The Advocacy Project has produced with women who have survived genocide and war in the Congo, Bosnia and other countries.
