On October 16th, another member and leader of the banana union SITRABI was assassinated by a heavily armed man in the department of Izabal. This is the fourth member of SITRABI murdered in 2011. SITRABI is one of unions highlighted within the original cases in the CAFTA-DR labor complaint.
